Queridos hermanos en Cristo, feligreses de San Lino;
Hay momentos de nuestra vida cuando las tormentas llegan y nos hacen derrumbar vienen momentos muy difíciles; enfermedad, tristeza, soledad, la pérdida de algún ser querido, falta de empleo y como ahora esta pandemia de Coronavirus.
Allí es cuando nosotros podemos levantarnos por encima de los problemas, nosotros no tenemos una bolita mágica que nos indique cuando se van a venir esos momentos difíciles, pero siempre podemos estar preparados poniendo nuestras mentes y nuestra fe en Dios.
Las adversidades de la vida no tienen que pasar sobre nosotros, si nosotros estamos dispuestos a dejar el poder de Dios a que nos levante por encima de ellas. Los que esperan y confían en el Señor tendrán nuevas fuerzas, levantarán sus alas como las águilas, caminarán y no se cansarán, correrán y no se fatigarán. La iglesia nos llama para cobijarnos y nos dice: “Trae tu corazón, ponlo en el altar junto al corazón de Cristo, que es corazón de fiar y lleno de amor”.
Si confiamos y nos acercamos a Dios a través de la oración entonces recibiremos el Espíritu de Dios que nos transforme y que haga nacer de nosotros un tiempo nuevo lleno de esperanza y que nos levantará por encima de cualquier momento difícil que se presente en nuestra vida.

Dear brothers in Christ, parishioners of San Lino;
There are moments in our life when storms come and make us collapse. Very difficult moments come; illness, sadness, loneliness, the loss of a loved one, lack of employment and now this Coronavirus pandemic.
In this moment we can rise above problems, we don't have a magic ball that tells us when those difficult times are coming, but we can always be prepared by putting our faith in God.
The adversities of life do not have to pass over us, if we are willing to leave the power of God to raise us above them. Those who hope and trust the Lord will have new strength, they will lift their wings like eagles, they will walk and they will not grow weary, they will run and they will not tire.
The church calls us to shelter us and says: "Bring your heart, put it on the altar next to the heart of Christ, who is a heart of trust and full of love."
If we trust and draw closer to God through prayer, then we will receive the Spirit of God that will transform us and that will give birth to a new time full of hope and that will raise us above any difficult moment that arises in our lives.
